Green Creek United Methodist Church
Our Missions:
- The Mission Society
- Since 1984, The Mission Society has been involved in recruiting, training and sending missionaries both overseas and within the United States. We currently support more than 200 missionaries who minister in more than 30 nations worldwide. We also partner with churches in an effort to help them realize and grasp their potential to have an impact locally, nationally, and internationally.
- BJ and Andrea Williamson
- By God's grace, OMS International exists to establish responsible, reproducing Christ-centered churches among the nations.
Our four-fold purpose to accomplish this is:
- Intentional Evangelism―leading people to commit their lives to a life-changing relationship with Jesus
- Church Planting―encouraging, empowering and supporting new believers in Christ to form vital, thriving and life-changing churches
- Training National Leaders―training leaders in both our formal and non-formal Bible schools and seminaries worldwide so that the future leaders of the national churches will be nationals
- Partnerships―coming alongside other mission agencies, ministries and churches in the countries we serve to show the world that Christians can work together through strategic partnerships to help spread the Gospel
- Ranch Hope
- Ranch Hope, Inc. provides learning environments for individuals whose needs can best be met through experiences outside their home, where they can obtain or regain their long-term academic, behavioral and spiritual focus. We pursue this Mission with Christian love and compassion.
- Red Bird Mission
- Red Bird Mission and Clinic have been providing ministries in this region of the Appalachian Mountains since 1921. Today the need remains critical in this isolated, rural distressed area. Chronic poverty, lack of jobs, poor housing, and rugged mountainous terrain provide obstacles to a fuller life for the residents of this area. Red Bird Mission and Clinic strives to meet these needs through ministry in five areas: Education, Health and Wellness, Community Outreach, Economic Opportunity, and Community Housing Improvement.
- Atlantic City Rescue Mission
- A nonprofit, Christian social service ministry helping the poor and homeless in southern New Jersey since 1964. People who have no home receive practical help, counseling, and Christian compassion. Through effective, innovative, Christian-based recovery programs, people are brought from despair into a productive, good quality of life within the community.
- World Gospel Mission
- Serving God in holiness and righteousness, World Gospel Mission connects in ministry with churches worldwide to make disciples of Jesus Christ among all nations.
- Jim Hughes Ministries
- Jim presents the Word of God through evangelistic preaching, music, drama and seminars. This unique means of ministry is powerful, effective and in touch with today's church.
- Mango Ministries
- The thrust of Mango Ministries is to proclaim the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, to heal the sick and set free the oppressed using traditional preaching crusades, healing festivals, revival meetings, church services and teaching/training seminars and through TV, radio and magazines in public and private settings, as appropriate. Most recently Bruce has been conducting ‘Supernatural Encounter’ nights in his home town of Watford.
